CAVALIA Announces Additional Performances in Tampa

TAMPA, FL –-– Due to popular demand and strong ticket sales, Cavalia, the incredible equestrian odyssey, has extended its run again at the Florida State Fairgrounds with a fourth week. The show, which opened in Tampa on March 12, will keep its tents up and be performing through, Sunday, April 11, 2010.

The multi-faceted, dream-like extravaganza has received an overwhelming positive response. The Tampa Tribune calls it “unbridled joy.” FOX 13’s Laura Moody says it’s “singularly spectacular! A treat for all.” The majestic, acrobatic, and enigmatic Cavalia has been touring for six years with no signs of slowing. Tampa Bay Metro describes Cavalia as “Enchanting entertainment, an artistic blend of beauty and equestrian arts.” The St. Petersburg Times says, “The startling beauty, magic and imagination of the show’s stagecraft keeps impressing.” And Creative Loafing calls the show “Mesmerizing!”

Normand Latourelle, founder and artistic director of Cavalia, is the visionary behind the show. Latourelle’s vision inspired Cavalia’s incredible sequences starring horses alongside men and women of astounding acrobatic talent, who captivate audiences in each city as the show tours.

This extension is the perfect opportunity to see the show for those who have not yet bought tickets. The Tampa run is selling quickly, so it is recommended that customers buy tickets in advance.

TICKETS - Regular tickets are priced from $34 to $89.50. And, if just sitting in the stands is not enough for you, the show can be customized for the complete VIP experience from $99 to $199, including a Horse Lovers Package that lets patrons tour Cavalia’s stables, and the Rendez-Vous Package that includes a tour of the stables, a cocktail/dinner reception and much more. SHOWTIMES - During Cavalia’s extended Tampa run, there will be nightly shows on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Friday, as well as matinee and evening shows on Saturdays and early shows on Sundays.
