Spruce Meadows - High Energy Win!

Calgary, AB --- The Husky Energy Cup took place in perfect conditions as 44 competitors battled for first place and valuable FEI ranking points. The 1.45M course was set by Olympic course designer Leopoldo Palacios (VEN) and had 16 entries return for the jump-off.

The jump-off times were fast as riders took advantage of the evening sun and perfect footing on Meadows on the Green. It was Eric Lamaze (CAN) and his mare Narcotique De Muze II who finished with the fastest time of 38.14 and a win in the Husky Energy Cup. Lamaze spoke well of the mare he rode to victory, “Narcotique is a horse that continues to be so fantastic for me. She is a horse that I can really depend on.” It was a great win for Lamaze continues to be a dominate player at the Spruce Meadows Summer Series.
